There are a variety of bones in your body that each has a role. Today I will write about some of the bones in your body and what they are useful for.

The cranium is your skull this protects the brain. It is located in your head.

The bones in your spine are the vertebrae, they protect the spinal cord and support your ribs. They are located in the back.

Your mandible is your jaw, this is used for chewing food. It is located in your head.

Your patella is your knee cap, this protects your knee. It is located in your knee.

Tibia is one of your leg bones that help you walk. It is located in the lower part of the leg.

I invented a saying to make me remember the spinal column: "My spinal column holds up the temple of the Lord which is my body."
