When Mowgli arrives at the nearby village, a family adopts him. The child learns how to be a villager and a herdsman. Whenever he is told to go out and take care of the bulls he makes another kid do it while he visits his friends, the wolves.

One day the wolves tell Mowgli that Shere Khan is in a valley. So Mowgli does what any other normal person would do. He made all the bulls angry then they trampled the tiger to a repulsive death. After this act of courage, Mowgli is stoned half to death by the other villagers and gets driven away since they did not want to pay him for killing the tiger.
