Kinetic Energy (Notes)
Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mv²
Any object that is moving has Kinetic Energy (KE). If an object is not moving, then it does not have any KE.
If there are two objects moving at the same speed, but one of them has a larger mass, then the one with the larger mass will have more KE.
If there are two other objects (Object A and B) of the same mass and Object A is moving two times faster than Object B, then Object A has four times the KE of B.
