Environmental and Genetic Factors in Growth
Every organism's growth is directly related to the environment it grows up in and the genes that it has.
The environment an organism grows up in affects how it grows. For example, a cat living in a house and being fed will be more healthy than a stray cat that is not taken care of. The influences on the organisms from the environment are called environmental factors.
Genes are in all organisms, they are traits passed down from the organisms' parents. They affect how the growth of the organisms. For example, the Maine Coon cat will be bigger than Siamese cats. The influence of genes is called a genetic factor.
