A Little About Fingerprints
All fingerprints are unique and none of them are the same. Even twins have different fingerprints.
When you are born, you have small lumps on your fingers. These lumps determine what your fingerprint's pattern will be. Even the slightest difference in the location on the finger or size of the lumps can change your fingerprint's shape. There are more than one quadrillion possible fingerprints.
In the ancient Middle East the Babylonians and Chinese used fingerprints as signatures.
